NWS: January thaw continues!

Today’s weather story from the National Weather Service:

(January 31, 2016) – Low pressure over Missouri will move northeast today causing unseasonably warm temperatures and increasing chances of rain in our area.

Fair weather is expected Monday with temperatures remaining above normal.

A stronger low pressure system is expected to move northeast from the southern Plains Tuesday. This system should cause rain and possibly thunderstorms in our area Tuesday with temperatures again well above normal.

Colder air will move in behind the low on Wednesday and persist through the weekend.
