Warm and sunny today
(January 30, 2016) – Southerly winds will continue to pump warm air from the southern U.S. into the Midwest over the weekend resulting in temperatures 15-20 degrees above normal. Today should be partly sunny.
Cloudy skies are expected Sunday with rain likely by afternoon as a low pressure system moves northeast from the Southern Plains.
A stronger low is expected to move northeast across the Midwest Tuesday accompanied by showers and possibly thunderstorms with gusty winds.
Windy and much colder conditions with scattered snow showers on Wednesday.
