Tonight’s weather story from the National Weather Service:
Temperatures fall tonight
(January 15, 2016) – Rain will slowly taper off from west to east, possibly mixing with some snow near the end with slowly falling temperatures. After midnight, northwesterly winds and falling temperatures will allow for the development of lake effect snow showers in favored portions of the area. Accumulations, if any, will be light, generally less than a half inch. Away from the lake, a cloudy night will be in store with overnight lows falling into the into the upper 20s to around 30. Much colder air, gusty winds and better chances for lake effect snow showers arrive for the second half of the weekend into early next week.
