Travel Advisory lifted for unincorporated Allen County
(January 13, 2016) – The Allen County Office of Homeland Security has lifted the travel Advisory for unincorporated Allen County. County highway crews have worked diligently over the past 48 hours to clear and treat rural roads. Improved weather conditions are helping their efforts. While the travel Advisory is lifted, we remind motorists that blowing snow and ice should be expected throughout the winter months. Exercise caution when driving. Make sure you have plenty of fuel, a good battery and good tires on your automobile. Keep a charged mobile phone with you if possible when you travel. Slow-down in winter weather.
