NWS: Falling temps and blowing snow

Updated weather story for today:

Falling temps and blowing snow

(December 12, 2016) – Arctic air overspreading the Midwest will continue to cause slowly falling temperatures, lake effect snow showers, and areas of blowing snow this afternoon.

Lake effect snow showers will gradually diminish in coverage and intensity by tonight.

Motorists should use caution as roads will be slick and visibilities occasionally reduced by snow showers and blowing snow… especially across far northern Indiana and southern lower Michigan.
