The Fort Wayne City Council met this evening for the first time in this new term.
The Council elected Councilman Russ Jehl (R-1st) as President and Tom Didier (R-3rd) as Vice-President.
Joe Bonahoom was re-appointed as the Council Attorney and Molly McCray as the Council Administrator.
Mayor Tom Henry briefly addressed the Council and welcomed them to the new term.
Two bills were discussed and voted a “Do Pass” recommendation while one was held for next week.
Council Committee appointments will be made next week as well as citizen appointments to various entities, commissions and organizations.
