Unseasonably warm/moist air
(December 23, 2015) – An intensifying low pressure system will lift northeast into the upper Midwest this afternoon causing unseasonably warm/moist air to move into our area. As the cold front associated with this system moves east late this afternoon and tonight, showers are expected with thunderstorms possible. Some of the storms could be severe with damaging winds and isolated tornadoes. Record highs in the lower to middle 60s are expected today with lows tonight only in the 40s.
