Possible thunderstorms this afternoon, tonight
(December 23, 2015) – A low pressure system over the Midwest will lift northeast this evening into the Great Lakes region. Thunderstorms ahead of the trailing cold front will be severe at times with damaging winds the primary threat with an isolated tornado possible. Behind the front, sustained winds will increase to 30 mph with gusts to 40 to 45 mph at times. Lows tonight will be in the 40s.
