Tonight’s weather story from the National Weather Service:
Scattered rain showers continue
(December 15, 2015) – Scattered rain showers will continue this evening, before ending across the area overnight. Gusty winds will slowly diminish through the overnight hours, as lows drop into the lower 40s.
Highs on Tuesday will be cooler than the past several days, but still well above normal in the mid to upper 40s.
Rain chances return Wednesday, with highs in the low to mid 50s.
However, a taste of winter will impact the area towards the end of the week, with highs only reaching the lower 30s Friday and Saturday, with scattered snow showers possible. A return to above normal temperatures is expected by early next week.
