Tonight’s weather story from the National Weather Service:
Patchy fog and light rain/drizzle possible across parts of the area tonight
(December 12, 2015) – Record breaking warmth will continue across the area tonight through Sunday. Some patchy fog and light rain/drizzle is possible across parts of the area tonight, however most locations will remain dry.
Lows are only expected to be in the mid to upper 50s, shattering the previous daily record for warmest low temperature. If the forecasted lows are correct, this would be the second warmest low temperature on record for the entire month of December at both Fort Wayne and South Bend.
The warm temperatures will continue on Sunday, with highs in the upper 60s to lower 70s. Rain chances will increase from west to east across the area Sunday afternoon, but will likely remain along and west of U.S. 31 into the evening. Rain will overspread the area Sunday night through Monday, with another night of warm temperatures expected.
