News release from the Fort Wayne Police Department:
Drug Raid N/W Fort Wayne
On December 11, 2015, members of the Fort Wayne Police Department Emergency Services Team along with Detectives from the Vice and Narcotics Bureau served a search warrant in the 600 block of Third Street. At 8:20 AM the search warrant was served resulting in the discovery of 180 grams of Synthetic Marijuana also known as “Spice.”
The occupants were part of an ongoing investigation and were both charged with the following crimes:
Jayson Gerald Brothers Sr., male, age 36
- Maintaining a Common Nuisance Level 6
- Dealing of a Synthetic or Look Alike Drug Level 6
Julene Marie Brothers, female, age 42
- Maintaining a Common Nuisance Level 6
- Dealing of a Synthetic or Look Alike Drug Level 6
Allen County Child Protection Services was contacted regarding the 7 year old living at the address and Fort Wayne Animal Control took custody of the 2 cats found during the search. The investigation into synthetic drug dealing is ongoing and further arrests stemming from this investigation are expected.
