Snow this afternoon
(December 2, 2015) – Precipitation will move across the area this morning, beginning as a mix of rain and snow, before changing over to mainly snow this afternoon. Snow accumulations less than an inch are expected across most of the area, and mainly on grassy/elevated surfaces. Some higher accumulations are possible in the Berrien, LaPorte and northwest St. Joseph IN, with 1 to 1.5 inches possible. Highs will be in the upper 30s to lower 40s. Snow will begin to taper off overnight across the area, with lows in the upper 20s to lower 30s. After partly to mostly cloudy skies and some lingering snow flurries Thursday morning, skies will clear through the afternoon hours. Highs on Thursday are expected to reach the lower 40s.
