County Establishes Employee Recognition Program
Workers to be highlighted for dedication to constituents(November 23, 2015) — The Allen County Board of Commissioners today announced a new employee recognition program designed to highlight workers for their dedication to the county and its constituents.
Beginning in December, employees will be able to recognize one another with a “County Civil Service Award.” Nominees will be considered for clearly demonstrating exceptional service, noteworthy commitment or efficient and innovative ideas.
“Employees are vital to the success of Allen County Government,” said Commissioner Nelson Peters. “It is through their hard work and dedication we are able to provide essential services to the citizens of Allen County. The Board of Commissioners would like to recognize employees for their efforts to go above and beyond.”
All nominations will be reviewed and, if meeting program requirements, the nominee will be awarded with a certificate and will be personally recognized for their service by the Board of Commissioners.
