Tonight’s weather story from the National Weather Service:
Rain showers ending tonight with lows in the 40s
(November 18, 2015) – Rain showers will gradually end this evening across the area, with lows tonight dropping into the 40s.
Our attention turns to this weekend, as precipitation chances return to the region Saturday. Much of our area could see the first accumulating snowfall of the season, with the best chances (as of right now) from Monticello to Warsaw to Hillsdale, MI and points northwest. Points southeast of this line may more of a rain/snow mix with temperatures at or above freezing. The snow is expected to begin early Saturday morning and continue through the evening.
Right now, exact snowfall amounts are uncertain as the track of this system could shift, but amounts generally in the 1 to 3 inch range are anticipated at this time. Stay tuned to the latest forecast through the end of the work week, as forecast details should become clearer, such as specific amounts and locations.
