Annual Holiday Concert: Scones & Crackers, Holiday in London – Class Recital
(N0vember 13, 2015) — Fort Wayne Dance Collective presents Scones & Crackers, Holiday in London – Class Recital on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 7 p.m. in the South Side High School Auditorium, 3610 S. Calhoun St., Fort Wayne, IN 46807.
The Fort Wayne Dance Collective heads to London for the holidays in “Scones & Crackers,” an evening-length dance recital curated by Artistic Director, John Byrne. Fort Wayne Dance Collective’s on-site school imagine iconic themes of Great Britain with experimental dance theater pieces to a soundtrack provided by musical artists; The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Amy Winehouse and more. Pack your bags and don’t forget your passport, you never know what can happen when one gets lost in the streets of London!
The cast of the production includes students from the Fort Wayne Dance Collective ranging in age from 3-60 along with guest dancers from Fort Wayne Dance Collective outreach sites.
Tickets for the performance are $15 for adults and $13 for students and may be purchased at fwdc.org, or by calling 260-424-6574. Tickets will be sold at the door. Seating is general admission.

The mission of the Fort Wayne Dance Collective (FWDC) is to inspire and empower people of all ages and abilities through movement and rhythm. Established in 1979 by five women looking for a creative outlet, FWDC has grown to include onsite and offsite classes, as well as outreach programming for pre-k through 12th-grade students and people with disabilities. In 2014, FWDC launched the Healing Arts therapy program in partnership with Parkview Health Systems.
