Property Tax Due Tuesday, November 10th
(November 9, 2015) – Time is running out! Property taxes are due this Tuesday, November 10. The Treasurer’s office wants to remind property owners that property taxes are now due, payments or post marks after November 10 will be considered late and are subject to penalty up to 10 percent of the unpaid tax balance.
“To avoid penalties, we have a number of payment options,” says Chief Deputy Treasurer, William Royce, “payment mailed and post marked by the 10th is considered on time, you can pay in our office, online at www.allencountytreasurer.us, or by phone at 1-877-690-3729 using jurisdiction code 7693.”
If you are missing a tax bill, you can find your bill online by computer at www.allencountytreasurer.us or type ACIMAP.US/MPATI in your smartphone or tablet.
The Treasurer’s office will not be open on Wednesday, November 11 in observance of Veteran’s day. Office hours are 8:00 am – 5:00 pm during the rest of the week.
