Today’s weather story from the National Weather Service:
Sunny skies today with rain tonight
(November 9, 2015) – Sunny skies are expected today, but clouds will be on the increase from south to north later this afternoon as an upper level disturbance slowly approaches the region.
This system is expected to spread light rain across the area tonight, especially for locations roughly along and east of Interstate 69. Rain will taper early Tuesday morning, with quiet conditions through Tuesday night.
Looking ahead, a strong storm system will develop across the central United States Wednesday, and bring a period of rain showers and isolated thunderstorms Wednesday night. There is a low threat of severe weather Wednesday night, but strong winds are expected across the entire region Wednesday night and Thursday as this system strengthens across the Great Lakes.
