News release from the Fort Wayne Fire Department:
Apartment fire, 2712 Paulding Road
(November 8, 2015) – Fort Wayne Fire Department crews arrived at 1:04 a.m. this morning to find heavy smoke in a lower apartment at 2712 Paulding Road. Crews made entry and extinguished the fire in the lower apartment. Fire did spread into void spaces of adjoining apartments bringing it to a total of four apartments involved with fire. Crews worked to find all hidden fire and the fire was under control in about 50 minutes.
The fire department was assisted by FWPD, TRAA, NCE, Fort Wayne Water Department, AEP, and the American Red Cross.
