USF Closer Look Lecture: Grace Sheese

(November 2, 2015) — The University of Saint Francis School of Creative Arts Closer Look lecture series continues with studio artist Grace Sheese on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at 7:30 p.m. in the USF North Campus Auditorium, 2702 Spring Street.

Sheese will describe her mixed-media ceramic work that is filled with narrative and surface decoration that is both decorative and functional. She has been a presenter and exhibiting artist at the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts (NCECA). Her work is currently shown in numerous galleries nationally and at her studio in Bloomington, Illinois.

Her work will be on display at USF in the John P. Weatherhead Gallery from October 24 through November 24 as part of the SURFACE: Contemporary Ceramic Imagery exhibition. Sheese’s lecture on November 24 is free to the public.
