Economic Experts to Discuss Changing Economic Environment at 2015 Economic Outlook Panel
(October 28, 2015) – Economic experts will provide the business community with insights and predictions at the 2015 Economic Outlook Panel. The luncheon and panelist discussion will be held on Friday, Nov. 20, in the IPFW Walb Student Union International Ballroom.
Four panelists will discuss how the changing economic environment will affect business and public policy decisions in the coming year—globally, nationally and regionally. The panelists include Dr. Timothy Slaper, Director of Economic Analysis, Indiana Business Research Center; Dr. Willard Witte, Associate Professor Emeritus of Economics, Indiana University; Dr. Charles Trzcinka, Professor of Finance, Indiana University; and Ellen Cutter, AICP, Director, Community Research Institute.
“The health of the economy affects our entire community,” said Michael Eikenberry, dean of the Doermer School of Business and moderator of the event. “The Economic Outlook Panel will discuss how global aspects influence our local economy and the impact companies, customers and suppliers have on the value of assets, consumer confidence, product demand, sales performance and job creation. As you plan for how you will navigate through 2016, you won’t want to miss this event.”
The Richard T. Doermer School of Business at Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW), Indiana University Kelley School of Business and Greater Fort Wayne Inc. will host the event.
