Fort Wayne Philharmonic Youth Symphony Orchestra violinists to perform with THEPIANOGUYS at the Embassy
One performance only, Dec. 3, 7:30 p.m.

(October 30, 2015) – Eight violinists with the Fort Wayne Philharmonic Youth Symphony Orchestra will be performing with ThePianoGuys on Dec. 3 at 7:30 p.m. at the Embassy Theatre.

The Fort Wayne Philharmonic Youth Orchestra program provides student musicians with an authentic, professional orchestra experience. A core focus of the program is to not only provide exceptional artistic training but also to offer transformative experiences that leave students with a strong sense of discipline, accomplishment, confidence, self-esteem, network of camaraderie and a deep appreciation for music and the arts.

The Fort Wayne Youth Orchestra program is open to all student musicians in the greater Fort Wayne area that have not yet graduated high school. This program features two ensembles: the Youth Concert Orchestra (intermediate-level students) and the Youth Symphony Orchestra (advance-level students).

Hailing from Utah, ThePianoGuys are four dads who became an Internet sensation by way of their immensely successful series of strikingly original self-made music videos. They’ve made over 50 since early 2011, including their hit video, an innovative multi-handed version of One Direction’s “What Makes You Beautiful,” and a gorgeous reinvention of the hit song “Let It Go” from Disney’s Frozen.

The Piano Guys have appeared in People magazine and have performed on TV around the world. Some of their major appearances include: The Today Show, Katie, The Tonight Show, Fox & Friends, CBS This Morning, Huckabee, BBC Breakfast (UK), Globo TV (Brazil), Mario Barth Show (Germany) and more.
