News release from the Fort Wayne Fire Department:
House Fire, 1229 Sinclair Drive
(October 18, 2015) – The FWFD arrived to find heavy smoke coming from the roof of a two story house at 1229 Sinclair Drive. The first units attacked and extinguished the fire on the second floor and in the attic. There was extensive overhaul to find and extinguish hidden fires in the walls and attic of the home. Three people( 2 adults and 1 child) were home at the time of the fire but were outside upon the fire departments arrival.
There were no injuries reported.
The Fire Dept. was assisted by FWPD, TRAA, NCE, AEP, and NIPSCO.
