News release from Science Central:

Stop the spread of a zombie apocalypse at Science Central’s upcoming adult-only event

(October 2, 2015) – On Friday, October 9, Science Central invites you to join in a night of fun in pandemic proportions as it prepares for the impending Zombie Apocalypse with “Soulless Science: The Quest for Patient Zero.”

This adult-only program puts participants in the role of medical investigator as they perform diagnostic tests, interview the friends and family of patients, and discuss the implications of a zombie outbreak with medical experts from the Allen County Department of Health and ethical and historical experts from IPFW.

After checking in at the admissions desk, participants will receive a medical chart detailing the events that have led up to the epidemic. They will learn about the identities and histories of infected patients and their “interpreters.” They will also discover the results of their own diagnostic tests used to determine if they are infected as well.

By the end of the night, each participant will have the information they need to make an educated guess about who they believe is Patient Zero.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase from JK O’Donnell’s, Sweets So Geek, The Girl of Sandwich and Sol Kitchen.

Tickets can be purchased online at $20 for an individual or $35 for a couple. Tickets sold at the door are $25 for an individual and $40 for a couple.

A Complimentary beverage ticket is provided with online preregistration by 10:00 a.m. October 5.

Must be 21 and older to attend.

To register for this event please visit sciencecentral.org.

Soulless Science: The Quest for Patient Zero is sponsored in part by Majic 95.1.
