Critical Injury Stabbing Investigation, 421 Fairwick Lane
Date and time: Thursday, October 01, 2015 at 6:00 p.m.
Location: 421 Fairwick Lane
Victim: Adult Male
Details:
(October 1, 2015) – Fort Wayne police responded to the 400 block of Fairwick Lane on the reported stabbing at approximately 6:00 p.m. this evening. Once on scene officers were met by the adult male responsible for the stabbing outside of the apartment building who directed them to the scene. Officers have placed the suspect into custody and transported him to police headquarters where he was being interviewed by detectives.
The victim was found inside his apartment suffering from an apparent stab wound. He was transported to a local hospital where he was said to be in critical condition. Investigators have learned that the victim and the suspect were both in the victim’s apartment consuming alcohol beverages when they began to argue resulting in the victim being stabbed.
This incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department and the Allen County Coroner’s office.
