Ivy Tech Northeast invites students, public to meet with manufacturing employers
WHAT: Proud to Manufacture in Northeast Indiana
DETAILS: As part of National Manufacturing Day, Ivy Tech Community College Northeast is hosting area manufacturing employers to demonstrate their products to Ivy Tech Northeast students, area high school students, and the community. During Proud to Manufacture in Northeast Indiana, attendees will also be able to tour the The Steel Dynamics, Inc. Keith E. Busse Technology Center and have the opportunity to chat with employers.
National Manufacturing Day is a chance for manufacturers to highlight their work and showcase the potential of manufacturing, which is the foundation of Indiana’s economy; the industry employes one in five Hoosiers, making up 1/3 of the state’s economy.
