Peerless Cleaners Celebrates 100 Years and Ribbon Cutting at New Location

(September 15, 2015) – Peerless Cleaners, Northeastern Indiana’s oldest full-service cleaner, will be celebrating its 100th Anniversary with a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 17, 2015. The event will feature the grand opening of its new facility at 4121 Hillegas Road, consisting of 32,000-square-feet and housing their corporate office and processing plant.

“We are very excited to be operating out of a state of the art facility that is not only more environmentally friendly, but also more productive and efficient,” said Peerless Cleaners President Steve Grashoff. “This new facility gives us the opportunity to grow our business in more retail sales, but it also allows us the capability to take on more commercial business. This new building has been a long time in the works, and we are very happy to finally have a new place to call home.”

Employing approximately 100 full and part-time employees, Peerless Cleaners specializes in dry cleaning; commercial laundry and leather care; and fire, smoke and water restoration. The 10 stores, in Fort Wayne, Auburn, Angola and Warsaw, are actively involved in a number of community events including Coats for Kids, Cinderella Dress Day and Dress for Success. Peerless Cleaners also provides home and office delivery within the Fort Wayne area.
