USF Jesters accepting registrations for 2015-2016
(August 27, 2015) — The University of Saint Francis is accepting registrations for 2015-2016 Jesters arts programs. People ages 6 and older with developmental disabilities can participate in this program.
Jesters’ activities begin Saturday, Sept. 12 and meet weekly in the USF North Campus dance studio, 2702 Spring St., across from the main campus.
The performing arts program meets from 10 a.m. to noon and activities will include dance/movement, theatre, storytelling, puppetry, percussion and music (instrumental and voice). Children and adults are welcome to attend the morning for a fee of $60.
Only adult participants registered for the morning performing arts program are eligible to register for the afternoon visual arts program, held on Saturdays from noon to 2 p.m. in the Rolland Center, Sept. 12-Dec. 12. The afternoon visual arts program requires an additional fee of $20 and is limited to 25 participants on a first-come, first-served basis. Scholarships for both programs are available.
Jesters will meet Saturdays from Sept. 12 to Dec. 12 (except Nov. 28 due to Thanksgiving). The program will not meet Dec. 19, Dec. 26, Jan. 2 or Jan. 9 due to holiday break. The performing arts program will resume January 16 and will continue meeting Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. through March 12.
The spring 2016 performance will be Saturday, March 12 at 6 p.m. and Sunday, March 13 at 3 p.m. at the North Campus auditorium.

Jesters enhances quality of life by engaging members in the creative arts, with a vision of developing self-expression, self-esteem, socialization and other life skills while providing learning opportunities to USF and the community.
