4th District City Council race interview with Rusty York

Rusty York campaign sign

We recently sat down with Democrat Rusty York who is seeking the Fort Wayne City Council 4th District seat in the November General Election.

The 4th District seat is currently held by Republican Mitch Harper, who is seeking the Mayor’s office this November.

York’s opponent, Republican Jason Arp was offered the opportunity for an interview as well, but did not respond.

Rusty’s career with the City first began with City Light. In 1975, he became a Fort Wayne Police officer until 2000 when he was tapped by then Mayor Graham Richard to serve as Police Chief. In 2014, he retired as Chief and took the City Public Safety Director position, which he currently holds.

You can learn more about York on his website or his facebook page.
