Today’s weather story from the National Weather Service:
Chance of mainly afternoon showers today
(August 30, 2015) – Patchy fog is expected this morning, especially across portions of northwest and north central Indiana and southwest lower Michigan, where some localized dense fog is possible.
Otherwise, a slow moving system will bring a chance of mainly afternoon showers today along with the possibility of a few isolated thunderstorms. The best chance of an afternoon shower or thunderstorm will be across portions of northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio, with lesser chances across north central Indiana and southern lower Michigan. A few isolated showers may persist into tonight.
Mainly dry conditions are expected for Monday and Tuesday, although an isolated shower or thunderstorm cannot be ruled out each afternoon. High temperatures will warm into the mid 80’s by Monday, and these warmer conditions are expected to persist through much of the week.
