Parks and Recreation Department announces promotions

Fort Wayne, Indiana (August 27, 2015) – Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation Director Al Moll today announced several promotions at the Parks and Recreation Department.

Mitch Sheppard, Deputy Director of Community Outreach and Conservatory/Theatre Operations: Sheppard’s responsibilities will include the direction of the Cooper Community Center, Jennings Recreation Center, Weisser Park Youth Center and the Summer Playground Program, along with her existing direction of the Botanical Conservatory and Foellinger Theatre.

Chuck Reddinger, Deputy Director of Recreation:
Reddinger’s responsibilities will include all golf, aquatic, field sports and outdoor recreation operations, summer camps, Salomon Farm operations, Lifetime Sports Academy, Travel Services, McMillen Park Community Center and the Community Center on Main Street.

Chantell Davis, Manager of Neighborhood Programs:
Davis will be responsible for the operations of the Cooper, Jennings, and Weisser youth centers, the Summer Playground Program and neighborhood outreach.

Patti Davis, Manager of the Community Center:
Davis will be responsible for all activities and daily operations of the Community Center.

The promotions take effect Tuesday, September 1.
