MedPro Group to Expand and Create New Jobs in Fort Wayne
(August 25, 2015) – MedPro (MedPro) Group, Berkshire Hathaway’s dedicated healthcare malpractice insurance business, today announced plans to invest $5.5 million to expand its corporate headquarters in Fort Wayne, creating approximately 70 new jobs over the next four years. The company plans to add 10,500 square feet to its current 123,000-square foot Fort Wayne campus at 5814 Reed Road. Construction will begin this fall, and the expansion will meet the needs of growing insurance business.

The company will be receiving an incentive package, valued at $1,522,388 from the Indiana Economic Development Corporation, Northeast Indiana Works and the City of Fort Wayne. The project will also qualify for a 10-year abatement of real property taxes and a 10-year abatement of personal property taxes (equipment).
