Press release from Parkview Health:
Parkview Health receives Most Wired award second year in a row
(August 13, 2015) – For the second year in a row, Parkview Health has been recognized with the American Hospital Association’s Health Forum (AHA) and the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) Most Wired award. The 2015 award identifies top performing organizations that use technology (IT) at an optimal level to improve overall performance.
Annually, The Most Wiredâ„¢ survey asks hospitals and health systems nationwide to answer questions regarding their IT initiatives. Based on evaluated responses, those identified by the 2015 Most Wired list have met a set of rigorous criteria across four operational categories and are recognized leaders using IT systems to connect directly with patients, enhancing quality, safety and clinical integration while providing privacy and security to protect and safeguard patient data.
“Parkview Health is dedicated to utilizing IT to better facilitate information exchange across the care settings and lower health costs,” said Ron Double, chief information officer, Parkview Health. “We strive to use technology to improve clinical performance and enhance patients’ safety, access and experiences. We are honored to be a recognized leader of health IT integration for the second year in a row.”
