Professional Bowling Association Tournaments Roll into Fort Wayne in August

(August 5, 2015) – Many of the top senior professional bowlers in the United States will travel to Fort Wayne to compete in two Professional Bowling Association (PBA) tournaments in August.

The 2015 PBA50 DeHayes Insurance Group Championship runs August 9-12 with 150 competitors expected to participate. Two weeks later, the 2015 PBA60 Dick Weber Super Senior Open welcomes 150 participants, including several PBA Hall of Fame bowlers from August 14-16.

Pro Bowl West, Fort Wayne’s largest bowling venue with 56 lanes, will serve as tournament hosts.The two tournaments will bring in an estimated 1,500 competitors, officials and spectators to Fort Wayne, generating $232,300 in economic impact.
