News release from Aardvark Paper Straws:
Aardvark paper drinking straws now sold at all Party City locations
The environmentally friendly, made in the USA straws are available in more than 900 Party City stores(August 4, 2015) — Aardvark, the only safe, durable and authentic paper straw on the market, today announces its newest relationship with Party City, the nation’s largest specialty party goods chain. Aardvark paper drinking straws, branded with “Made in the USA” labels, will be the only paper straws sold on Party City’s website and will be offered in 900 corporate and franchise Party City store locations throughout the US and Canada.
“As the original and only ‘Made in the USA’ paper straw, we are thrilled to partner with a company like Party City that has a powerful influence across the nation,” said Dave Hooe, president and CEO of Precision Products Group, Inc., parent company of Aardvark. “We pride ourselves in creating the safest, strongest and most dependable paper straws that coordinate with any celebration and will not deteriorate mid-use.”
Customers can choose to buy packages in quantities of 24 paper straws for $2.99 or 80 paper straws for $7.99. The paper drinking straws are offered in 12 various brightly colored stripes in small packages and in more than 20 different unique designs in large packages. Seasonal straws will also be featured regularly throughout the year.
Based on the design of the original paper straw invented in 1888, Aardvark’s current straws are assembled using one-third more material than competitor straws, making them sturdy, strong and able to withstand hours of use without falling apart in a beverage. Even with the durable design, the eco-friendly and biodegradable paper straws take only 45-60 days to decompose. Aardvark’s paper straws are the only product on the market to be printed with FDA food-grade approved inks and its ‘Made in the USA’ labeled brand is one consumers can trust.
In addition to all Party City locations, all of Aardvark’s paper straws designs and products are available for purchase online. For more information, visit www.aardvarkstraws.com or follow the company on Twitter at @AardvarkStraws and Facebook at www.facebook.com/aardvarkstraws.
