USF Arts Entrepreneurship Program Seeking Community Partners
The University of Saint Francis offers opportunity to local businesses and organizations to work with students to complete creative initiatives.(July 29, 2015) — The University of Saint Francis is currently accepting proposals from community businesses, organizations and other entities that may be interested in collaborating with students to complete organizational initiatives. The university’s Media Entrepreneurship Training in the Arts (META) program utilizes experiential learning to provide hands-on education opportunities while building relationships within the community.
META students have participated in projects for a wide range of organizations and companies, from large corporations to startups. The program is designed to uniquely address the changing landscape of all industries and potentially foster the growth of small business. The META program has created a Request for Proposal (RFP) for potential META clients to submit proposals for projects during the 2015-2016 academic year.
The deadline to submit a proposal is August 10. Accepted fall 2015 projects will be notified no later than August 31, 2015, and projects selected for spring 2016 will be notified by December 4, 2015.
