Deputy Chief of Fort Wayne Fire Department named

News release from the Fort Wayne Fire Department:

Deputy Chief of Fort Wayne Fire Department named

Adam O’Connor is a 19 year veteran of the Fort Wayne Fire Department, and is being promoted to Deputy Chief from the Operations Division. Adam has been promoted thru the ranks from Firefighter to Lieutenant and Captain, and is currently on the promotional list to be a Battalion Chief.

 

 

Chief O’Connor is a ten year member of the Technical Rescue and Hazardous Materials teams, has been a Fire Academy Instructor, and in 2011 – 12 was the Assistant Chief of the Operations Division.

Chief O’Connor attended Purdue University and IPFW, and has a science degree. He is also a member of the Three Rivers Ambulance Authority Board of Directors.
