Shooting Investigation
Date/Time of Incident: July 24, 2015 at 1:10 AM
Location of Incident: 3600 block of Trace Way
Victims:
Male Adult (Critical Condition)
Male Juvenile (Serious Condition)On Friday July 24, 2015 at approximately 1:10 AM, officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the 3600 block of Trace Way in reference to a shooting investigation. As officers and paramedics arrived on the scene, they located two victims suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Paramedics provided medical attention to the victims before transporting them to a local hospital. Upon arriving at the hospital, one of the victims was listed in critical condition while the other victim was listed in serious condition.
Investigators on the scene advised that it appears that individuals were involved in some type of disturbance that escalated in gunshots being fired. At this time, there is no suspect information and no arrests have been made. The names of the victims are being withheld pending family notification.
This incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department and the Allen County Prosecutors Office.
