News release from the Three Rivers Festival:

Three Rivers Festival Celebrates Diversity at International Village

(July 16, 2015) – The Three Rivers Festival kicks off the final weekend with the official ribbon-cutting ceremony to open the International Village on Friday, July 17th at 11 a.m. Located directly adjacent to Junk Food Alley, the International Village is now in its 5th year and offers a variety of food, music, dance, crafts, and demonstration from different cultures, who now reside in Fort Wayne.

“Celebrating the diversity of Fort Wayne is one of the great things about our festival,” declares Jack Hammer, Executive Director of the Three Rivers Festival. “The International Village gives attendees the opportunity to really learn, first-hand, and experience other cultures they may not otherwise get the opportunity to experience. We encourage folks to come down, ask questions and get really engaged with the participants.”

The Three Rivers Festival extends its gratitude to the generous sponsors that make the International Village possible: Afdent Dental, Downtown Improvement District, and Multicultural Council Fort Wayne. The International Village at the Three Rivers Festival takes place from 11 a.m.-10 p.m. on Friday, July 17th and Saturday, July 18th. The 9-day festival culminates with a colossal fireworks display at 10p.m. on Saturday, July 18th.
