IPFW’s Accelerated Admissions Program Promises to Make Dons-on-the-Spot

(July 10, 2015) — Want to begin your undergraduate degree at Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) this fall but haven’t submitted your application yet? You can become a “Don-on-the-Spot” at one of the Accelerated Admission Days taking place every Thursday in July from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.

During Accelerated Admissions Days, prospective students can come to the admissions office and apply, have their application reviewed, and potentially be accepted—all within a span of 30 minutes.

“I’m excited that we can provide a chance for students to become a ‘Mastodon on the Spot’ at our Accelerated Admissions Days,” stated Tonishea Jackson, director of undergraduate admissions. “This is an opportunity for students who have not yet made enrollment plans for the fall a chance to finish in one day, and my team is prepared to complete the admissions process in an accelerated manner for students.”

Recent high school graduates must have at least a 2.5 grade-point-average, completed a Core 40 diploma type, and scored a minimum of 1150 on the SAT or 17 on the ACT. An official high school transcript must be presented to be considered.

Transfer students must have at least 15 credit hours and a 2.5 grade-point-average, and have all relevant transcripts from all colleges attended.
