News release from the Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership:

Promotion of Ryan Twiss to Director of Regional Initiatives

(June 17, 2015) – The Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership (Regional Partnership) announced today the promotion of Ryan Twiss to director of regional initiatives, effective immediately.

A member of the Regional Partnership team since 2010, Twiss has most recently served as director of the Big Goal Collaborative.

The mission of the Regional Partnership is to build, market, and sell Northeast Indiana to increase business investment. Twiss will oversee the Regional Partnership’s community development work focused on building a region that is ready for business investment. In this capacity, he will also serve as the executive director of the Northeast Indiana Fund (NIF), the 501(c)(3) support arm of the Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership.

“Ryan’s experience with the Regional Partnership, the NIF, and other community development efforts throughout the region made him a natural choice to fill this important role,” said John Sampson, president and CEO of Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership and NIF board chair. “The leadership and passion he brings to this work will no doubt help us unleash growth in Northeast Indiana.”

Twiss’s duties will include providing day-to-day leadership for the community development work of the Regional Partnership, which works to improve the lives of all residents by focusing on the five pillars of Vision 2020: 21st Century Talent, Entrepreneurship, Infrastructure, Business Climate, and Quality of Life.

“I’m very pleased and grateful to have this opportunity to take a more direct role in the regional initiatives work of the Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership,” said Twiss. “This is such an exciting time to be a resident of Northeast Indiana. The energy and momentum in our community is undeniable, and I look forward to this new opportunity to support the region as it works to accelerate progress even further.”

Twiss will continue to provide primary leadership to the Big Goal Collaborative, which under the 21st Century Talent Pillar aims at increasing the percentage of Northeast Indiana residents with a high quality credential or degree to 60% by 2025.
