BRIEF SUMMARY OF INCIDENT and/or ARREST:

On Tuesday, June 23, 2015 members of the Fort Wayne Police Department Methamphetamine Suppression Unit, along with members of the Allen County SWAT Team served a search warrant at 10501 Main Street, Leo, Indiana. Detectives had received information that someone at this address had been manufacturing methamphetamines, and received a search warrant to investigate further.

Upon serving the search warrant, five (5) adults and two juveniles were located on the property. Numerous illegal items were discovered during the search, including: One active meth lab, meth precursors, marijuana, prescription narcotic pills, methamphetamines, and drug paraphernalia. All five adults were arrested for a variety of charges (See Above). There were two juvenile children located in the house at the time of the raid. Indiana Department of Child Services made the scene and assisted in removing and placing the children in foster care. We were also assisted by the Allen County Animal Control who removed two dogs from the house and the Allen County Building Department who helped board up a broken door.

Today’s meth raid will be the 27th meth lab investigated so far this year.

This investigation is ongoing.
