Active weather pattern continues
(June 21, 2015) – An active weather pattern will continue Sunday through Monday night. A lingering frontal boundary will push southeast of the area through this afternoon. This may bring some showers and thunderstorms to the area today, with the best chances (30%) along and southeast of U.S. 24. Severe weather is not anticipated today.
Highs will be in the low to mid 80s across most of the area, with highs in the mid to upper 70s near Lake Michigan. Dry conditions are expected overnight, under partly to mostly cloudy skies. Lows will be in the 60s.
Shower and thunderstorms will be possible across the area Monday late morning/early afternoon. After a break in precipitation chances during the afternoon and early evening hours, another chance of showers and thunderstorms will return Monday night. Some of these storms could be severe. Highs on Monday will be in the low to upper 80s, with lows Monday night in the mid 60s to mid 70s.
