Red Cross to open emergency shelter in Decatur today

(June 18, 2015) – FLOODING UPDATE: AT 1:00 p.m. today, the American Red Cross of Northeast Indiana will open an emergency shelter in Decatur, Indiana. 20 homes in Decatur’s Stratton Park area are being evacuated due to flooding. The shelter will be located at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 414 Madison Street, Decatur, Indiana. People coming to the shelter are urged to being pillows, personal hygiene products, and any medications they regularly take.
