Tippecanoe River above Winamac affecting Carroll…Pulaski and White Counties
…Flooding severity forecast to increase from Minor to Moderate for the following rivers in Indiana…Ohio
Wabash River near Linn Grove affecting Adams and Wells Counties
Maumee River AT Ft. Wayne affecting Allen and Paulding Counties.Recent heavy rainfall is causing flooding along area rivers. Major flooding is now expected along the Tippecanoe River above Winimac. Moderate flooding is now expected along the Wabash River near Linn Grove and the Maumee River at Fort Wayne.

Safety message…Never drive vehicles through flooded areas. the water may be too deep to allow safe passage. Never allow children to play in or near flood waters. The Flood Warning continues for The Maumee River AT Ft. Wayne
* until Monday afternoon.
* At 11 AM Thursday the stage was 19.9 feet and rising.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
* Forecast…The river will rise to crest near 20.1 feet around 2 PM Saturday June 20 and fall below flood stage around 5 PM Sunday June 21.
* At 20.0 feet…Some evacuations may be necessary in low, unprotected areas of River Haven.
* This crest compares to a previous crest of 19.7 feet which occurred on May 22 2010.&&
