Credit Union Robbery Attempt Investigation

Date: Wednesday, June 17, 2015

Time: 10:10 a.m.

Location: 1802 Inwood Drive, Fire/Police Federal Credit Union

Details:

Officers were dispatched to the Fire/Police Federal Credit Union located at 1802 Inwood Drive on the reported robbery at approximately 10:10 a.m. this morning.

On arrival officers were told by employees that 2-males entered the credit union both wearing dark clothing, masks and gloves concealing their identity, at least one of the subjects was armed with a handgun. They demanded cash but were unsuccessful in their attempt and were last seen running out of the front door of the credit union.

No customers were in the credit during the robbery attempt and no injuries were reported.

This incident remains under investigation by the Northeast Indiana Bank Robbery Task Force, and the Allen County Prosecutor’s office.
