News release from the TinCaps:

TinCaps and Clinton cancelled due to rain

(June 15, 2015) – For the second time this season, a TinCaps game has been cancelled. Rain prohibited Fort Wayne and the Clinton LumberKings from taking the field for the second time in three days on Monday night. The TinCaps swept a doubleheader from the Kings on Sunday, but their series finale will not be made up as Clinton doesn’t return to Parkview Field this year.

Fans who had tickets to Monday’s game can redeem them at the Parkview Field Ticket Office for any future regular season game in 2015 based on availability.

The scheduled 7:05 pm. first pitch never happened due to rain and the game was officially called at 8:23 p.m.

Fort Wayne also had a game cancelled at Great Lakes back in April.

The TinCaps head to Comstock Park, Michigan, on Tuesday to begin a three-game series with the West Michigan Whitecaps. First pitch is set for 7:00 p.m. The action can be heard on ESPN Radio 1380, Box Score, and the TuneIn Radio app (coverage starts at 6:45 p.m.).

Despite the rainout, Fort Wayne attempts to win its fourth game in a row, which would be a season high. The TinCaps have won seven of their last 10 games.
