News release from Greater Fort Wayne Business Weekly:

Nominations open for top 20 northeast Indiana Millennials

(May 22, 2015) – Greater Fort Wayne Business Weekly is seeking nominations for outstanding representatives of the Millennial generation in northeast Indiana. Nominations will be accepted through July 12 for northeast Indiana residents age 18-34 who are making significant contributions in their workplace or school and in their community.

The Business Weekly editorial board will choose the top 20 Millennials nominated to be featured in a special publication inserted into the August 28th edition of Business Weekly. Winners will also be honored at a cocktail reception on August 27 at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum Lounge.

“The Millennials are such an interesting group. They know what they want and they aren’t afraid to work hard to get it, but they also want to make an impact right now, not later,” said Terry Ward, CEO of KPC Media Group and publisher of Greater Fort Wayne Business Weekly. “Our hope for these awards is to draw attention to this valuable asset in northeast Indiana. Businesses can benefit so much from the contributions of these young people, however business leaders need to understand that Millennials also highly value their time outside of work and so where the Baby Boomers were willing to sacrifice their personal time to get ahead, Millennials are more likely to seek a more equal balance.”

Nominations can be submitted online at https://www.fwbusiness.com/ under events. The deadline is July 12.

Sponsorship packages are still available. Email events@kpcmedia.com for more information.
