* FLOOD WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF NORTHERN INDIANA AND NORTHWEST OHIO…INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING AREAS…IN NORTHERN INDIANA…ADAMS…ALLEN IN…BLACKFORD…CASS IN…DE KALB…GRANT…HUNTINGTON…MIAMI…WABASH…WELLS AND WHITLEY. IN NORTHWEST OHIO…DEFIANCE…FULTON OH…HENRY…PAULDING…VAN WERT AND WILLIAMS.

* SEVERAL ROUNDS OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING AS AN UNUSUALLY MOIST AIRMASS COMBINES WITH A FRONTAL BOUNDARY AND UPPER AIR DISTURBANCE. RAINFALL TOTALS IN THE 2 TO 3 INCH RANGE ARE EXPECTED ACROSS MUCH OF THE WATCH AREA…WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS IN EXCESS OF 4 INCHES POSSIBLE.
* ALTHOUGH ANTECEDENT CONDITIONS HAVE BEEN EXCESSIVELY DRY THIS MONTH…RAINFALL TOTALS IN EXCESS OF 2 INCHES WILL BRING A THREAT OF FLOODING…ESPECIALLY IN URBAN AREAS INCLUDING FORT WAYNE AND MARION…AS THUNDERSTORMS COULD PRODUCE TORRENTIAL DOWNPOURS WHICH COULD QUICKLY LEAD TO LOCALIZED FLOODING.
