Mayor Henry announces Primary Election endorsements

(April 29, 2015) – This morning, Mayor Tom Henry announced his support for the following candidates facing contested elections in the May 5th, 2015 primary:

City Council, At-Large
Terry Anderson, Mike Avila, Michelle Chambers

City Council, 2nd District
Michelle Merritt

City Council, 6th District
Councilman Glynn Hines

“Like my fellow voters in Fort Wayne, I made these decisions after careful consideration because they’re the best choices to serve our city and keep our momentum going,” Henry said Wednesday. “I’m proud of all we’ve accomplished together so far. I’m running for re-election because I’m committed to finishing what we started, and I need a City Council that shares that commitment. Terry Anderson, Mike Avila, Michelle Chambers, Michelle Merritt, and Councilman Glynn Hines earned my support with their hard work and dedication to Fort Wayne—and I hope they’ve earned yours.”
