Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership responds to RFRA

(April 1, 2015) – The Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership is issuing the following statement in response to the passage of and signing into law of the Religious Freedom Reformation Act (RFRA), SB 101.

The Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership and the region of Northeast Indiana have always been committed to inclusion, and we stand united against discrimination in all forms. We embrace diversity in all facets as an important and increasing contribution to our region’s economy.

The Partnership’s Vision 2020 initiative has brought focus and alignment to our community’s efforts to develop, attract and retain talent. To be successful in that endeavor, we must be a community that is welcoming to all. We view every individual as a distinctive and integral part of our community, and we believe that our diversity leads to our strength.

Northeast Indiana will continue to embrace and serve all residents and businesses with dignity, respect and with the exceptional service that reflects the genuine caring attitude for which we are well known.

Bottom line, Northeast Indiana is open for business.
